One of my goals for 2018 was to attend more conventions than last year when I first ventured into Anime & Cosplay themed conventions. Starting quite late in the year (April I believe) I attended 4 conventions and 2 fan meetups.
Well it’s only the start of March and I’ve almost doubled the number of conventions since 2017! I’ve had a few very busy and sometimes expensive weekends at the following events:
- Whitby Steampunk Weekend
- Toshocon! 2018
- Bradford Unleashed
- Southport Comic Con
- DigiCon 4
- YCC (Yorkshire Cosplay Convention) Minicon
- Stockport Unleashed
I’m quite proud of how much work I’ve done over these past few weeks. It’s been a great experience to work alongside other photographers as well as cosplayers and start the road to showcasing my work. My Facebook page @michaelwlachphotography has gone from zero to over 100 likes in this time. A big thank you to everyone who has liked my page.
If you like my work and would like to show your support you can buy me a Kofi (coffee) via this link:
Thank you once again and here’s to the next round of conventions!
